Lieutenant Shawn Murray has been a California Peace Officer for the past 25 years. Shawn Murray been employed by the Oceanside Police Department   since January of 1989, serving in a variety of uniform and investigative assignments as a field officer, supervisor and manager. Lieutenant Shawn Murray has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University and is a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy and the Senior Management Institute for Police. In 2001 he was awarded the Department’s Medal of Valor.
